Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada
PARC supports young Torontonians aged 18 to 29 who have left the child welfare system. They are supported in developing key goals and skills in the following areas: health and mental health, education, employment, immigration, nutrition and wellness, identity, financial literacy, housing, law, life skills development, crisis counseling, emergency assistance and more.
Every year, nearly 1,000 18-year-old Torontonians face independent living after a stint in the youth protection system. They are nearly 200 times more likely to be homeless than their peers.
