Fondation du CHUS (Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke)

In 2018, the CHUS Foundation launched its major fundraising campaign, Present for Tomorrow, aimed at supporting vital projects in the various axes and trajectories of the CIUSSS Estrie – CHUS and the CHUS Research Centre. The J. Armand Bombardier Foundation contributed to the CHUS Foundation’s major fundraising campaign by investing in the project to acquire a linear accelerator. More than 30,000 patients suffering from cancer are treated each year on linear accelerators and this new acquisition will facilitate access to services, treat patients within the desired timeframe and avoid having to move patients to Montreal or Quebec City.
