Fondation Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal
Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur-de-Montréal is one of the largest and oldest hospitals in Montreal. It is also a community hospital for more than 2 million people in the northern part of the Island of Montreal, the Laval, Laurentian, Lanaudière and Abitibi-Témiscamingue regions.
The Integrated Renal Support Center Projet responds to urgent needs. Moreover, it correlates with our intentions to accompany post-diagnosis patients and to improve the quality of care. The possibility for patients to receive their treatment at home (elderly non autonomous) or to manage their treatment independently at home (patients eligible for training) not only improves the quality of life of patients, but also reduces the number of patients in the hospital. The current pandemic has demonstrated how such solutions can improve patient safety.
