La Fondation André-Côté

Over the years, the Fondation André-Côté has carved out an important place for itself in the delivery of healthcare in the region. Little by little, the organization has developed new services and expertise in supporting sick people and their caregivers.
Palliative care is a major challenge in the region, where families often have to travel to larger centers for services due to the lack of local infrastructure. There are no hospices in Kamouraska. The home-based services offered by the André-Côté Foundation therefore enable many patients and their loved ones to remain at home. The Foundation enjoys the support of its community, which is actively involved in fundraising activities.
