With its support, the J. Armand Bombardier Foundation is helping to establish a comprehensive cardiovascular surgery program in Thunder Bay. In a situation where a patient is facing a problem of blocked coronary arteries, time is critical. This means that families will no longer experience the additional stress of travel and expense. Patients and their loved ones will be able to have better support and faster, less costly recovery by taking long trips out of the equation.
