The J. Armand Bombardier Foundation’s support for McGill University is twofold. On the one hand, the Foundation supports the Goodman Cancer Research Centre. This centre fosters inter-university collaboration in order to advance medical resarch. Through joint projects and collaborations, research into the nature of cancer and metastatic diseases is expanding.
On the other hand, the Foundation also supports the McGill Sustainability Systems Initiative (MSSI). This project takes a multi-disciplinary and multi-sectored appproach in converting the former Royal Victoria Hospital into a place where experts from all of McGill’s faculties can come together and create a dynamic community of researchers committed to sustainable development.
