Ballets Jazz Montréal
Founded in 1972, Ballets jazz de Montréal seeks to democratize dance and offer new choreographic forms that are ever more captivating and human. By consolidating its program of cultural mediation and support for up-and-coming dancers, the company hopes to reach a wider range of audiences and help train a new generation of contemporary dance performers.
This includes the creation of an intensive training program for dancers aged 15 to 25 – BJM_360- and partnerships with other institutions to extend cultural mediation to school audiences (danse danse) and the visually impaired (danse-cité).
