Centraide du Grand Montréal

Centraide of Greater Montreal is a long-standing partner of the Foundation. For several years now, we have been working together on a community mobilization and capacity-building project for organizations in the Ville-Saint Laurent borough. This involves, among other things, supporting local organizations that work with targeted populations, in particular isolated families, new arrivals and single-parent families, in connection with various themes such as housing, the very young and their families, educational success and social integration, the educational and social success of young people, diversity and inclusion, and the isolation of seniors.
The project also contributes to the creation of favorable conditions for effective local collective action, by fostering opportunities for collaboration between players, supporting the Table de quartier and encouraging leading organizations to consolidate the capacity for collective action.
