CENTRE DES FEMMES DE MONTRÉAL
With 50 years’ experience helping women to help themselves, the Centre is more than ever an essential reference point and beacon for today’s women. A beacon that remains relevant and in step with its times, its community and the women who benefit from its services.
The Centre has expanded and multiplied its services, initiatives and collective actions to support several generations of women over the years, contributing to the social changes required to reduce inequalities and ensure greater social justice. The Centre’s achievements and impact are considerable.
With the cost of living soaring in Quebec in 2025, the housing crisis raging, job insecurity on the rise, immigration continuing to rise, violence against women unabated and the vulnerability of the homeless increasing, the women of Montreal continued to be put to the test.
A team of committed workers and employees offers a proactive response to the personal, social and economic difficulties expressed by women.
Regardless of her origin, status or social condition, every woman will find a multitude of internal resources or external referrals, activities and tools enabling her to improve her living conditions and those of her family. In the form of individual support or group activities, the services offered enable participants to receive guidance, make informed decisions and develop skills for better social participation.
