La Fondation de l’Université de Sherbrooke

In May 2023, the Université de Sherbrooke launched its major fundraising campaign under the theme Choisir de changer l’avenir! This $250 million campaign, the most ambitious in its history, will support more than 150 inspiring projects that will provide innovative solutions to the challenges of today and those of the future.

One of these projects, the Pôle de recherche en leadership et entrepreneuriat, caught our attention in particular. Spearheaded by the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Management, the Pôle will offer students from all cycles of study opportunities to contribute to entrepreneurship research and start their own businesses in a dynamic mentoring and propulsion environment. In particular, it will explore current and contemporary issues such as technological and scientific entrepreneurship, female entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial failure.
