Québec Cinéma plays a key role in promoting local cinema, particularly through the Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma festival. Its new artistic residency offers high school students a creative immersion experience, combining meetings with professionals, hands-on workshops, and cultural activities set within a festival context. The Foundation chose to support this project because of its potential to build capacity and its educational impact. By fostering direct access for young people to Quebec cinema and its creators, this initiative contributes to cultural awareness, creativity, and the development of the next generation of artists throughout Quebec
