Queen’s University

The Ingenuity Labs Research Institute is a place for the development of intelligent systems, robotic machines and mechatronic devices for a variety of sectors: agriculture, mining, construction, transportation, remote search and rescue, firefighting, health and wellness, and more. The Institute fosters highly collaborative research bringing together researchers from all areas of engineering as well as members of other faculties to nurture research, external collaborations and partnerships with both industry and the local and international communities.

With our grant, the Institute hopes to increase and diversify its knowledge transfer activities to the student, business, academic and broader community. The result of such a partnership will contribute to a new influx of students, new avenues for interdisciplinary research collaboration, new partners who can leverage technologies, and the creation of new innovative products that will transform many aspects of our lives.
