Rivo

Since 1993, RIVO has been offering psychotherapy services to refugees and asylum seekers. Over the years, RIVO has become an indispensable support in dealing with the psychological suffering of people arriving in Quebec who have experienced traumatic situations and complex migratory trajectories.

People who have experienced organised violence (whether political, social, identity-related or religious) have very specific needs: they remain deeply affected by the events in their country of origin, while integrating into their new country requires a great deal of resilience.

RIVO works to restore psychological well-being for these people, who are referred by health practitioners.
