The Gina Cody School’s Innovation Programme, launched in 2022, offers support to students whose inventions, creations or research results have strong potential for technology transfer and/or commercialisation. Throughout the programme, teams have access to one-to-one advice and mentoring on a variety of topics, including innovation and entrepreneurship, additional funding resources available for start-ups, legal advice, technology, intellectual property, marketing, finance and business development.

While multi-disciplinary innovation is essential to deliver products and services capable of meeting the greatest challenges of our time, bringing intellectual property to market remains a major challenge. The vision of the Gina Cody Innovation Centre is that by working with industry, government, institutions and individuals, it will help students and researchers alike.

The development of entrepreneurial skills among students is a long-standing philanthropic interest of the Foundation. We are proud to contribute by supporting Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science.
