We are in 2009; it would have taken Lia Grimanis over 10 years to move from being homeless to having a thriving career in the technology sector. Keeping a promise she had made to herself – to help other women rebuild their lives faster than she did – she launched the Up With Women career and business program. This organization helps vulnerable women maximize their personal and professional potential, find economically viable work and build careers to which they aspire. And this to get out of poverty permanently.
