Temporary suspension of access to the Grant Application Platform

We are currently updating our forms and internal processes for processing grant applications.

As a result, access to our platform will be temporarily suspended for a period of two months, from April 1st to May 31st, 2026.
We are doing everything we can to ensure that the platform is fully operational again from June 1st, 2026.

During this period, please do not submit any requests by email, as these will unfortunately not be processed.

All the information remains available on this website.
Thank you for your understanding.

We consider the following to be new applications:

  • The first application submitted by an organisation
  • An application submitted by an organisation that has not received annual support from the Foundation in the last 24 months
  • An application submitted as part of a major fundraising campaign

All new applications are made directly on the Foundation’s electronic platform and require the submission of a letter of intent.

IMPORTANT: An application guide has been developed to assist applicant organizations. We invite you to consult it before beginning any application process.

 See the steps below.

  • Consult the application guide for submitting an electronic application
  • Complete the registration form
  • In the dashboard, select the ‘Grant Application’ programme.

The letter of intent (LOI) or intent form takes little time to prepare and allows you to briefly describe the purpose of your application.
Only the intent form will be reviewed. There is therefore no need to send us any other documentation at this stage.

Possible scenarios once the form has been submitted

  • If the application can be reviewed by the Grants Committee following your submission, we will contact you to invite you to submit a complete application.
  • If your application is eligible but we are unable to review it immediately, we will keep the form active for a period of 12 months. We will contact you if the situation changes during this period.
  • If your application is not eligible according to our criteria or due to budget constraints, you will receive a communication from us within 30 to 90 business days*.

*Response times
You will receive a response to your intent form within 30 working days of submission, except for requests over $100,000. For these, a more in-depth analysis is carried out and the response may take up to 90 days, depending on our committee dates.

During the summer, the response time for an intent form may exceed 30 working days due to holidays. Still, we communicate decisions to all applications (whether the response is positive or negative).

If we invite you to submit a complete application

Step 1: When we contact you for a complete application, we will give you access to a more comprehensive form to fill out on the same electronic platform. You will attach your most recent financial statements and your annual/activity/impact report. We will then specify the deadline for completing this information. This is done only at our invitation.

Step 2: Your application is presented to the Grants Committee. Possible scenarios:

  • If the application is for $100,000 or less, you will receive a final response, positive or negative, one week after the Grants Committee meeting.
  • If the request is for more than $100,000, it is presented to the Board of Directors. The response time, whether positive or negative, can be up to 30 working days.

Step 3: Granting of the donation
Donations are made by direct deposit into the account. If the request is accepted, the applicant’s bank details are requested. A specimen cheque is the easiest way to provide us with this information.

Step 4: The conversation
To strengthen the relationship of trust, you will be invited to a 30-45 minute meeting during the year. This approach is designed to encourage direct and spontaneous exchanges. Beyond our donation, we want to hear about your successes, challenges, needs, learnings, etc. We also appreciate informal follow-ups throughout the year.
