Baluchon

Baluchon Répit long terme offers in-home respite of 4 to 14 days to support the family caregivers of people living with Alzheimer’s, other degenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or people at the end of life. Services are offered at low cost ($15/day) throughout Quebec.

In addition to providing respite, the organization assists caregivers with issues such as ergonomics, behavior management and stimulation activities. It also acts as a bridge with the healthcare network to obtain additional services or specialized equipment needed for homecare.
