The Shield of Athena

The Shield of Athena is a non-profit organization for victims of family violence. It offers emergency shelter and professional services to women and their children. All support, intervention and prevention services are culturally and linguistically adapted to meet the needs of many of Montreal’s major ethnocultural communities. We are proud to contribute to strengthening the program of cultural intermediaries who work in 11 languages.

Le Pas de la rue

PAS de la rue’s mission is to welcome and support people aged 55 and over who are homeless or in precarious situations, with a view to stabilization and reintegration. The organization offers a wide range of support measures, from the street to a housing-relay program, as well as a day center.

The Stop

The Stop strives to increase access to healthy food in a manner that maintains dignity, builds health and community, and challenges inequality.
