L'Avenue hébergement communautaire

L’Avenue’s mission is to promote the social and economic integration of young people aged 18 to 30 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Through short- and medium-term housing, supportive housing and social housing, L’Avenue helps them get off the streets and into society in a sustainable way.

Mettre toute la vie qu’on peut dans la vie qui reste” (Put all the life you can into the life that remains) is a quote that aptly expresses the mission of the PalliAmi Foundation, which is to offer a respectful, warm, dignified and compassionate living environment for people at the end of life and their loved ones, at the very heart of Montreal’s Notre-Dame Hospital.

The André-Côté Foundation, which mainly serves the Kamouraska region, works to ensure that every citizen diagnosed with cancer or an incurable disease has the right to comfort and support during their illness. By remaining at home for as long as possible, they can enjoy a dignified end to life.

The Lighthouse, children and families

The Lighthouse, children and families, offers free care and support to parents who have a child who is suffering from a terminal degenerative disease or severely disabled, requiring complex care. Three programs guide its action: home visits, stays for variable periods at Maison André-Gratton, and end-of-life care.

Orford Music

Orford Music is a high-level classical music academy with the mission of stimulating the creativity of young musicians, at their beginnings and throughout the development of their professional life. Every summer, the Academy attracts over 400 university students from around the world to study with internationally renowned teachers.

The Wapikoni Mobile

Since 2004, the Wapikoni Mobile, a travelling studio for audiovisual and musical creation, has made the rounds of Québec’s Indigenous communities. It helps young people fight isolation by developing artistic, technical, social and occupational competencies. It also plays a role in disseminating and preserving the cultural heritage of the First Nations.
